how much gain in porting the plenum and port matching to hiflow runner gaskets and manifold openings? Is it worth the time to do? I already have the hiflow runners and manifold base installed, so i would have to take the top part of the intake off.

I don't recall the actual CFM flow increase after porting the plenum, but it is one of the things that TPIS recommends in their "Secrets" book. Anything you can do to help the TPI intake system flow more air is beneficial.

Perhaps someone with a better memory than mine can post the flow increase.

If you decide to do it, yes, the plenum has to be removed. The porting is realtively simple to do and doesn't take too long.

I hogged out tons of metal from my plenum. I cut down the egr wall that is right behind the throttle body, siamesed the throttle body opening, the runner openings, cut down the bolt bosses inside the plenum and smoothed and polished a lot in there. I am sure that those mods will help once I get my Accel base, AS&M runners, and long tube headers on. I did as much as I did for practice porting and polishing AL as to get real gains. Now I know how my cutters and polishing heads work on AL so that when I work on my expensive base and runners I know what to expect.

I heard somewhere that it is a 325 CFM increase and about 10 to 15 HP.... There was a thread not to long ago and I cant remember who posted, but they gave out pictures of what they did........
So, right every little bit does help......
