RAM JET 375
Has anyone installed a 375 Ram Jet in their vette? Which do you think is the best course of action a 383 stroker or the Ram Jet? Thanks for the information. Hank Oh, do you guys think there will be a clearence issue with the hood if I go with the Ram Jet 375.

I was at a big swap meet the other day. There was a Chevy dealer with a display of all the cool crate motors, including the ramjet. That thing would be so cool in a midyear. Looks so much like the original mechanical fuelies! I think it would be too tall for a C4, however. You'd really have to measure. The current Chevy hi-po catalog has dimensions.
They also had the all aluminum ZL-1 crate motor. Oh man, is there a drool emoticon?! :yesnod:

Yea, the specs on the Ram Jet 454 ZL1sound SWEET but it's damn expensive.
They have a few at Sallee Chevrolet for $20k. :eek:
