Default 383 Part#3

Well ran into a few small minor problems. Tonight I decided to test fit the Power steering bracket and A/C bracket after getting my heads milled and the block deck, They are off a just a tad. Had to get new push rods. Went from a 7.200 To a 7.150. Now I have a nice sweep across the head of the valve. Here is a picture of where she is at this point. I still have to finish sanding the casting marks out of the Super ram.

Don't forget to get that O2 sensor bung welded into the exhaust so we can use a wide band to tune it!

That looks terrific Rich! There's something about a fresh motor on a stand.... kinda like springtime following a long winter

What are you cleaning up on the SR? Would you mind posting some pics?

 86...too funny. Just turn the video camera on! And of course, fire a new motor with open headers. Something about a new engine roaring to life loudly!!

Ya know Jay, I went to the machine shop the other day with Rich, the motor looked great. Rich has helped me along quite a bit.

What really blows is that he's gonna be back on the road before me. I've been at this for 7 mos. and Rich is going to be back on the road and ready to kick my butt royally before I get out of the garage :lolg: :lolg:  I'll try to be there for documentation though

Yeah that sucks! hehe

My car was at LPE the same time as a friend's was once. Mine came back before His, and it ticked him off a little hehe. It's how it goes sometimes.
