Pulling Plenum And Runners...Runner Bolt In Valley ??
Hi Everyone :seeya
I'm starting my winter projects today so I did a search on runner removal and read something about there being a bolt in the valley.
What valley ? I hope it isn't the lifter valley :smash:
Thanks

Vic is right, on the left rear and right front there is a bolt that must be accessed from across the intake base.
You will find that a thin Torx bit with 3/8" extension will help to free them and a long hex driver will help in starting them back on reassembly.
After you get the plenum bolts out you likely will need to "persuade" the plenum to break loose from the upper runners but, once the lower runner bolts are out the runners just "fall off".
You will do well to put a tag onto each Torx bolt before you bag them, as they are of various lengths depending on location.
