Dash Lights Are Really Dim
My Speed and RPM section seems really dim compared to the other sections of my Dash Panel. Is this something that can be fixed without replacing the whole Panel etc. Everything seems to work great but things are just hard to see.

I'll point out the obvious. Not sure with your '85, but my '95 has a dimmer dial for the dash. If you do also, see where it is set and change the setting.

I have had to replace the instrument bulbs in my 87 (882 sylvania is the part number). There are a total of 4 and 3 of mine were blown. You can get to them from the front as long as you are very carefull. I went ahead and disconnected the entire computer system and replaced mine from the back but beware if you do that you could be looking at a very hefty bill, I hear to the tune of $2500.00 if you mess something up! I replaced mine with the way overpriced set from mid america $45 for four bulbs, but they came w/new sockets too-I took the display out of the car and put it on a towel on the bar and had a dish for all the little screws, once i did all that and replaced them it is like new now
