Default LT1 Intake Conversion on a 406CID?

http://www.lt1intake.com/services.htm How will this flow on a 406? Has anyone used this for anything that big in cubes? Does this type of intake the Lt1 flow better then the Super Ram or Stealth Ram?

Forget about the headaches in making it b/c they really dont concern me because Im capable of converting one, its just how much power can I expect on a 406 say with 190 AFR's or some edelbrock heads?

The LT1 intake can flow... There are LT1 owners with 421ci motors using essentially stock intakes!

the aftermarket has not created an overabundance of intake options for us LT1 folks...

Ive had All 3 Intakes.
SuperRam,LT1 and HollyStealth Ram.

If you can mod the LT1 to work youself Its cheap to do. If your buyin one from him Your better off with a HSR and custom plenum to fit under the vette hood.

Personally for a 406 id do a SuperRam. look at ski's old combo.

I regret selling my SuperRam to george cuz now that im building a 418 with twin Turbos id love to have my SR back.

I was looking through the archievs and at one point it was said that the Super Ram cant really make more power when the cubes go over 383 but the TQ does increase. I hope the Lt1 intake can make more power for the 406.

The LT1 intake can support tons of power in either NA or supercharged trim. The Holley Manifold while its design is good, it won't fit under a C4 hood without a custom plenum. And there are a couple out there, but so far there really hasn't been any real numbers about how the custom plenum performed if it performed at all. Jesse is using a custom single plane manifold now made by Jeb. Basically it is a Super Victor single plan with Jebs custom made plenum on top. Jesse has been testing it and has done well with it.

I am looking into having Jeb build be a plenum for a 434 LT1 I am looking at building, using a set of AFR 215 raised runner heads. For that application its either a custom sheet metal intake of one from Jeb. Its a no brainer when it comes to cost differential between the two. Either way its going to make some big Hp numbers :)
