twong would know the answer to this i knwo datamaster will work with various vehicles like trans am firebird camero and of course vettes but u already new that :D as far as the cable goes i dunno if the pin layout would be the same or not on all obd1 systems i guess u would just have to check and see if the cable will connect to the pins to run datamaster which would be a and m or e i think ! but i dunno if the interface would work on other vehicles? twong would tell u everything u need to know ! hope ive been some help if not i try :yesnod:
Yes, it works with many vehicles. You just have to get reader software that works with it.
I personally use it on both my Vette and the S-10 Blazer. Datamaster has software for my blazer and i'm pretty sure the reason is because of the typhoon and syclone's. You might check their website. You can always use Diacom on just about any GM vehicle. Obviously this can only be done on 95 and older cars though.
