Default Is this normal?

Every time I remove the gas cap to refill, I get a lot of air escaping that seems to me to be excessive. Is this normal for an 86 or is there a problem?

Mine doesn't do that. I'm sure someone will chime in with the answer your looking for. I'll bet it has something to due with that charcoal canister and solenoid setup :smash:

I jumped the gun on this one. I didn't think to do a search before asked the question. According to the info in the search, excessive pressure is not normal and is most likely the result of a plugged vent line. I will check that out . Sorry about that. :bb
