2 possible engine combos - advice needed
This is for my '86.. 3.07 gears, 2000 stall converter, headers and true dual exhaust:
Option 1 - yank the motor from my camaro
1988 police 350, will be using a zz-4 cam and ported 882 heads to flow about 230 cfm, stock tpi with ported plenum and siamesed base
Option 2 - early 80's 350 bored to 360, mild compu cam (non roller) with ported 624 heads that flow 220-230 cfm w/ 2.02 valves. same induction as option 1
either way id use 1.6 roller tip rockers. option 2 is ALOT easier as long as i find an 84-85 oil pan
edit: can i even put a knock sensor in an older block??
what kind of power should I expect from either engine?
