Speakers left side not working

Speakers left side not working
I have a audiovox cd player installed with the original bose speaker's.
The problem is the left three speaker's aren't working. When I try to use only the left they short to the right side. I pulled the stereo and installed the original Bose and it does the same thing. This eliminates the stereo . It seems to be some sort of short because of what happens when Iswitch to the left side and it causes the right to work. If anything the left side should be dead when they are only used. I checked the wiring when I pulled the stereo unit and it seems ok. Any suggestions and if so where is that part or unit located when I look for it? Thanks

When I first bought my head unit I tried using the original speakers and they only lasted a short time. The best thing to do is replace all the speakers also. Once your Bose units start going up it all goes up! :sad:
