FYI. I use the Flowmaster's and just installed a Random Tech cat. Just love the sound.

you get what you pay for but! in the case of magnaflow's LT1 mufflers you get what you didn't pay for iam talking about RESONANCE and a whole lot of it
yes they look good but the interior resonance is TERRIBLE.

A fellow California LT4 owner, cut off his mufflers, replaced his resonator with straight pipe, flipped the air cleaner with a K&N and got 324rwhp. I'd say go with no mufflers! :thumbs:

Have the same car and the same choice to make and didn't want the 5.0 sound! I went with Magnas for that reason. Pretty quiet with the resonator in place. I suggest having it replaced with straight pipes, it made a difference. JMHO :D . They have the dual round angled cut tips. Idle sound is pretty good...Hear it. I eventually went with elims and resonator for more sound, so the magnas are on the floor in the garage.
