Ok, the other day after installing the new injectors (slp 25lb.) I went ahead and replaced my spark plug wires, (which needed to be replaced anyway) started the car up, and after a few times and it ran. It was idling at about 1200 but it ran and sounded fine . So I let it run for awhile and then decided to test drive it. I did, but it was running way rich and died a couple of times when at lower rpm's and when going from park to drive. Later on I checked for a code and got '45', looked it up and found out that it was high 02 sensor voltage. I replaced my 02 sensor when I installed my air/fuel ratio gauge in january. Then yesterday I checked my fuel pressure on my adjustable fuel pressure regulator and it was about 38-41psi. I can't turn it down anymore because the screw hits the bottom of the plenum. Also, I got it to start but it sounded like crap and would'nt stay idling by itself, but then I took out the F.P. fuse and started it up and it ran and idled by itself for about 30-45 seconds then died. I did check for a code afterwards and it was '33', and my car is an '88 if i can remember correctly that indicates a bad MAF sensor for my year, right?
Is it possible that my fuel pump is pumping too much fuel?
Could a bad MAF make my car run this way?
Anyone got any ideas?
I wish I could find the problem here, It's been broken for a total of 2 months now, and it seems like nothing is working! :mad
Things recently replaced:

Re: Still got problems...Help needed! (-=Persephone=-)
Take a screwdriver with the engine running and give a few whachs on the maf housing. If the engine rund better or worse(usually stalls) this will show a bad sensor. This hillbilly test will not prove it good only bad. You may need a new relay. Switch the maf with the maf burn off relay. If code changes to 34 it is the relay. Also check fuel pressure to be sure it is right.
Re: Still got problems...Help needed! (-=Persephone=-)
I am hoping for you wallets sake that if your code33 is a relay that is a 7 dollar fix. My car needs new relays every 3 years or so.It is real easy to switch the maf with the burn off relay that takes 1 minute. That is why I sent you there first. Many people run out and buy a $200 maf sensor only to foind uot it was in fact the relay. keep us posted.
