Power door locks 1990
I was working on my doors. I had the panels off and when one of the power door locks connections came in contact with the door itself. There was a spark and then nothing. Now niether door lock works. I have checked the fuse block, all the circuit breakers. All seems to be fine, but! no power to the locks. Is there a fuse or breaker I do not know about? Any ideas please.
I can not find anything on the schematics. But what else is new. Thanks Mike :nopity

There is a door lock relay assembly also
Other than the 30 breaker, thats all I see between battey and motor. (haynes)
If I have time, I'll dig up some info out of GM manual

Looked in my GM manual(86) and it doesn't mention a relay module for my year. Not sure about 90
I would try and trace the power from the circuit breaker.

I think its the switch that got burned. If your 90 switchs are the same as the 88 then the power window switch are the same. Swap the door switch with the window to see if the power door lock work...

I'm gonna suspect a damaged switch as well. There are no relays, and the wiring is *probably* ok. Do you have a multimeter at your disposal? It would make diagnosis fairly simple.

Same thing happened to me! Here is what it is. You blew a fuse. Ya I know you checked them and they are all good "BUT" to my surprize there is another fuse panel under you passanger side hush panel. It is in a small block with your alarm fuse and another one. Check there and Im sure you will find it blown. The biggest pain is getting the hush panel off.

Ding ding ding ding :withstupid:
There is a auxilary fuse panel box underneath the hush panel. It holds 5 fuses or so. it will be up close to the firewall.
