Default Ebay performance chips or performance rips??

Has anyone had any experience with these chips? I am assuming that they are just snake oil. If so everyone should maybe beware.

Not sure what it does(something modifing the IAT), but it's a better idea to move your sensor up to the airbox. I wouldn't pay money for this. It definitely won't give you 20hp. The computer calculates the AFR for a reason. More fuel won't necessarily give you more HP.

$2 for a .01 cent resistor? All it does is trick your ecm. Don't waste your money or time........there is NO such thing as cheap HP gains.

Im too lazy to read your links, but if you really want to learn and make your own chips- the info is very available and free. Try here in the scan and tune section, and over at thirdgen.org 's message boards. Combined there is a wealth of info that should at least have you reading for weeks. The hardware o burn your own could cost less that $150 if you shop around.

All that GIZMO does is add a resistor to your intake air temp sensor. Its fooling it to tell the ECM that its a bit warmer to lean out the mixture. But the tning about doing that is, once in closed loop the ECM will use the O2 sensors to trim the fuel regardless of what the IAT does. So I call :bs

Give me a break Victor. They just came up while I was doing a search for the big wing I want to put on the back of my Vette. It's not my fault they were a result in a Corvette search. I'm not going to buy them, that would eat up money for my under car neon kit and my vinyl graphics.
