Bump for the night crew and forum time change....
So basically I just need some better tools and a bit more grunt. The head bolts I did get loose where a major pita, even with a 16" pipe over the ratchet. :crazy:

Head Bolt Removal Help
Specifically the 2 rear most lower bolts on the passenger side head on my 88. Anyone have any tips or want to share how they got these bolts out?
I destroyed my 3/8" swivel socket and ratchet. Tomorrow I am getting a 1/2" breaker bar and borrowing some of my old mans snap-on swivel sockets, think this will do the trick?
