Default Rocker problem

Yesterday I took down valve covers and started with installing valve seals to exhaust guides. When I took down rocker I saw that rocker was hitting
the retainer. I took down all of the rockers and the situation looks the same.
I have installed wider springs with cam ( 1.470" ). But I think that
problem is here because machining guy machined top of the valves.

Do you think that roller rockers could solve the problem?

Here are the pics:

I think my cranes will clear 1.5 springs.
Check rocker manufacturers websites to see what's the largest spring diam. that can be used.
I checked, and it is a maximum diam. of 1.5" with my crane energizers.
They recommend a minimum of .040 clearance beteween spring and rocker

Is the rocker geometry now wrong or are the rockers simply not right for those springs?

You might check out Comp. Cams web site; if the answer isn't found there you could e-mail them to see if their ProMagnums will clear those springs.

Probably a little bit of both. The pic that I took is the worse one.
A few more are similar and others are minor damage.

Do you know at what e-mail adress could I talk to CC's?

That's why I went with my 1.7 rockers. My crane golds hit the huge springs that are on my heads. I knew the Scorpion rockers had plenty of clearance, I thought I'd give the 1.7's a try since I had to replace them anyway.

What springs do you have?
