I removed all the smog stuff. Pump, hoses, ect. Will this set any code's? If so, what can i do? And can I just cap all the other ports for the smog lines i.e.- plenum, and the junction box to the left of the distributor.
The new to me aftermarket intake monifold that I have has an EGR block off plate. Should I keep the EGR or leave the plate on. Would the engine run better without the EGR?
OH!.......Yes, there is but i dont care. My car is an 85' and the law makes 85' exempt in a year or two. So I only drive the car in the summertime. I don't care if im driving around with a rejected sticker.
I've passed so many smog test without the smog pumps etc.it's a joke :D a properly tuned internal combustion engine will pass :D Passed them in California, New Mexico and Washington State-follow the directions and plug it off :D if you throw a code-the general will let you know :D then you can take action! Not to worry :D
