After almost having a jacked up 4X4 back over me at a red light because he couldn't see me below his bumper, I realized my horns did not work. Maybe they are out there but I couldn't find any direct replacements.
So here's what I did... I bought 2 replacements for $15 each at Pep Boys. I used a chisel to knock off the original mounting bracket from my dead horns and mounted them to the new ones. The new horns were brass color, so I painted them black.
The first pic is of the old horn with the bracket removed next to the new packaging. The next pic is the new horn installed with the old bracket. I thought it looked pretty stock and the new horns are LOUD and work great...
Mine have worked when they wanted to :) the right contact is dead, the left if you mash it hard enough or if it feels like it, it'll work. It's all in the wheel, the horns go off when the VATS sounds

I had to mash the wheel to get my horns to work until I had to take the wheel off to change out the turn signal switch. Found alot of broken plastic pieces where the switches were. New one from GM about 28 bucks (I think) and it was as good as new. Now the only problem is hitting the right place on the wheel in time to stop someone from hitting you LOL.

No Pep Boys in Seattle :mad I went to Autozone, got two for $26. including brackets (which I had to straighten, bend to a 90 and paint black-sounds great. ;)
