Yes the back of the opti-spark unit on a 94 LT1 has a offset on it. It only installs one way and one way only. If you look really close you will see a flat spot on the spline. I hope this info helps you out.

:iagree: BUT.....it IS possible to put the drive cam "off" a few teeth. You need to use an inspection mirror when installing to make sure it's oriented correctly.

Being that the opti drive is splined with a flat spot, you would literally have to beat it on, to get it a couple of teeth off.
