Default Installing crankshaft position sensor reluctor rings????

It presses on the the crank with the keyhole, but seems loose. What is the best way to insure it is installed correctly and snug?

Thanks MAx

It fits loose. The hub seats against it and holds it in place. You'll note the reluctor ring is machined such that it should only be installed one way. Press it flush against the crank sprocket and if it contacts the timing chain, then flip it. Bascially the "convex" side goes torwards the engine/crank sprocket and the "concave" side points out.

Max if you are planning on using a stock style hub without a key way. You can leave the key in the crank and just file it down to the surface of the crank just like the original. Basically the key has to locate the reluctor ring and from that point on its even with the top of the crank.

I got it. The crank has a rear key that the sensor ring catches and a seperate front key.

Thanks again
