Yep, 2 bolt versus 4-bolts mains(Corvette only). We also have 2 knock sensors though the F-body blocks have the ability to add another knock sensor.
If you are thinking of going with one, they are fine. I would suggest going with ARP studs on the mains though(requires align honing at machine shop), or you could go even stronger than the stock 4-bolt mains by getting splayed 4-bolt caps for the 2-bolt block(recommended for over 450hp applications).
OF COURSE, this is all excluding the mini LT1's out there. I guess chevy made some 265 LT1s and these are obviously very different than the 350 LT1 blocks. I think the all went into Impalas and Roadmasters.
my friend's roadmaster sure ain't got a "mini" LT-1...it's got all 350 cubes under that hood...
He never said the 350 wasn't available in the B-body :D He is correct, BTW. The 265s went into Roadmaster, Caprice, etc. The Impala SS could only get the 350 though.
