Please help with error code 9

Some background:
- 1986 AL head L98 with an automatic tranny
- Hypertech chip, lowtemp stat, coil and distributor cap.
- MSD wires and Accell "U" grove plugs
- The hypertech chip has been running great for about a year.
- I have recently had a intake swap (to an accell base with AS&M runners & a 52mmTB). I also had new 24# injectors put on at the time.
- Last night my wife filled it up with low ocatane fuel and it normally gets premium.
Ever since the intake swap, I have had rough cold ldle during the first few seconds when I start the car. I figured that since the car is in closed loop to start (or is that open...I get the names confused) and the injectors are pumping more fuel, that it is just something I'll have to live with until I get a new chip burned.
Well today I got a check-engine light and plugged in my Auto Xray and got :
9 EAS
electrical fault.
The car drives fine with no indication of problems except that it will not idle smoothly and will stall if left unattended, regardless of the running temp or time from ignition.
Anybody out there have a clue about this?
The rough cold idle may be due to the cold start circuit not working properly. Check an AutoXray scan to see what the ECM is seeing as coolant temp.
Idle problems even when warm are either due to a vacuum leak or a problem with the IAC.
