Service engine light code patern... I need the error code??
Hi guys,
I just did an error code test on my 88 Vette, with the Pin connect A and B with the paper clip, but I need to know the error codes for these two flashing paterns.
Unfortunaly I do not have the service manual to find out.
First code is, (Flash, Flash, Flash, Pause, Flash, Flash, Flash)
Secound code is, (Flash, Pause, Flash, Flash)

Code 33: Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP)-signal voltage out of range, high or Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor-signal voltage out of range, probably high.
Code 12: No Engine RPM reference pulses-System Normal

VSOCKS, I bought a code reader for 30 bucks at Checkers and it has a code booklet. Also, its in the Chilton repair book. And of all else fails, you can surely find it using the search button on CF. :flag
Code 24: Vehicle Speed Sensor Cicuit
Code 45: Oxygen Sensorleft side on 2 sensor system rich exhausted indicated
Where is there a complete ECM code listing?
I have codes 24 and 45, what are they?

Just want to make certain... did you get that error code 33 from an 88 Service manual? I read that there are differences depending on the year.
Thanks
The trouble code 33 remained the same for models 1985 through 1989. I've heard that includes the 1990 model year as well, but I thought 1990 was the year MAP was introduced.
