Default Real bad memory!

Okay, I am getting old for sure.

Can someone tell me where the feed side of the tranny cooling lines go into the radiator? It has been 6 months since I pulled this stuff out and I cannot remember if it went from the pump side of the tranny to the top or the bottom of the radiator?

Thx!

RC

Put the lines where they fit best. First, that is probably where they were, and second, there is nothing "directional" about the cooler. It wouldn't matter.

Unless you're installing a trans cooler, then the recommended routing is to tie the aux cooler in to receive the fluid AFTER the fluid has gone through the factory cooler.

So you'd need to use the lower line on the factory cooler (radiator) to run to the aux cooler; then out of the aux cooler back to the trans.

Thanks All!

I am installing a factory cooler as well. Maybe I was making it more complicated. Looking at the motor side, hot water starts at the bottom and re enters at the top, which led me to think maybe the transmission fluid should do the same, so as not to hot the hottest part of the radiator on the way back.

More than likely does not make a difference.

Thanks again. Someday I will get this thing off the stands!
