Am I correct, You want to install a knock sensor gauge somewhere in the dash area?

I don't think they make those, I could be wrong. I did see somewhere on this forum a link to a schematic to build your own knock indicator for those with 85-89 knock modual setups. Tried searchign for it, but couldn't find it. Sure its hidden somewhere.

Correct, a gauge to see knock counts. Very commom among GN racers. I don't race either my GN or my Vette, but want to use it for tuning purposes. I use TurboLink for my scanning and there is a parameter for knock counts in the GN ECM data stream, but only the ESC IN and ESC OUT for the 165 ECM, so I need a gauge.

I've never seen one advertised, but I suspect one could be built.
Diacom shows both knock counts and degrees of spark retard, so if it can be shown on the screen of a laptop in close to real time, I suspect it could be made to show up on a gauge too.
