Re: Another question regarding my low torque (MagikDraggin)
Ok, I called the Chevy dealer in town and they say, their books only show one knock sensor for ALL 96 corvettes.....LT1's AND LT4's.
You asked them the wrong thing or they told you the wrong thing. There are 2 parts here with similar names.
1. Knock Sensor: Located in your engine block, detects the frequencies.
2. Knock Module: Located in your ECM box, decides what to do with the frequencies.

I think this is what you need. LT4 Knock Module GM Part #: 16214681
You hit that one right square on the head Scorp! I pulled the ECM and flipped it over, removed the cover and voila!......I've got the wrong module in there.
Went and bought the correct one, installed it, drove the car around for awhile so the compooter could get its bearings back again, and romped on that sucker.
NOW, it does what everybody has been telling me it should do...it lights 'em up and screams off the line.
Thanks for the help scorp....couldn't have done it withoutcha!
