Default Gasket re-using

Hi guys, I remove my plenum and runner for servicing my injectors.

Can I re-use the old gasket for plenum and runner?
Theses gasket have two years.I put new one when I did a headgasket job.

Thanks

personally i never reuse a gasket.they arent that expensive.felpro makes a upper intake set ,i think its about $30 at autozone, whenever you put something back together it never goes back excatly in the same spot, look at how much you can move the parts around before the bolts are tightened.just my opinion.

I've been into my intake several times and reuse the upper & lower runner gaskets because all are ported and I'm too lazy to port the new gaskets to match. After two reuses I've not had any air leaks in that area.

If you get the FelPro gasket set you may as well install new gaskets but if you aren't going in any deeper than to remove the runners you can reuse the gaskets so long as they are not broken.

Default Gasket

I've never reused a gasket. To me it's just cheap insurance not to have to redo a job. But I know folks who have re-used with no problems. It's a "pay your money and take your chance" kind of thing.
