Not very hard at all if you have the right tools. You need a lock plate compressor. make sure you pay attention to the orientation of the u shaped clip that you remove. then it is just 3 or 4 phllips screws ro remove the plastic turn signal assembly. one screw to remove the turn signal handle. THen you need to go to the bottom (mid) of the column and disconnect the connector. Make sure that you tie a string to the connector that you pull up through the column so that you can use the same string to pull the new one back down.
