Default Which MSD "Window" Switch do I need to get?

I'm gonna run a NOS Nitrous kit on my vette within the year, and I'm going to MOST LIKELY use a MSD Window Switch to activate it between 3000-5500rpm. Any specific part # that I need to get? Also, is it easy to hook up? All I gotta do is hook up one wire to the TACH input wire, then of course 12v+/Ground, then the other wire will send power to my Nitrous Solenoid's right?

I would think that you would need a window switch that turns the nitrous on at X rpm and then off at X rpm. In that case you would need part number 8956 if you do not require that the nitrous be turned off then you would need part number 8950. If you are connecting direct to the nitrous solenoid I would suggest that you install an interposing relay between the window switch and the solenoid. The window switch can only handle about 1.5 amps and a typical solenoid valve has a inrush current of 3 or 4x that of its nominal on state current draw. The simple 8950 switch has two different contacts that you can use. It has a normally open and a normally closed contact, for a situation like what you have, the normally open contact is the one you would want to use.
