Well, I can't really complain, because I got it for free..but I LOVE IT! It's easy as 1-2-3 to put on, holds the hatch SOLID (even under BUMPY roads). Makes the interior MUCH cooler, and also lets you hear the exhaust a LOT clearer.
I tested it on CentralCoasters car first, then my car. Thanks DT!
I DEFINATELY would purchase it. If you're like me, you don't want to leave the hatch open at ALL when parked..and with this vent, you can take it off in 10 seconds.

Last month I saw a ton of coupes using this product as they cruised around th St Charles area during Bloomington Gold. They must work or no one would be using them!
Got one also,,, install and removal a breeze; and when installed and latched, i agree a very tight fit... Especially with the roof off air flow 100% better...
i had one on mine and was on a bumpy road and broke it - had the manufacturer replace it and broke the second one too - they are a GREAT concept, but they need to be made of aluminum, stainless steel or something else really really strong!
Is this the one that just twists on or do you physically attach it? I have the one that twists on but it did not work well with the targa off (the extra shaking of the car caused the latch to disengage resulting in a scary situation of the hatch coming entirely open--lucky I was on the street rather than the freeway).
I'm VERY pleased with mine, also have the gadgetman version. As others have said, very solid and stable. Well worth the approx. $20 price! (if I remmeber correctly)
I've been using mine since Spring, and I love it - The Gadgetman Vent is a well made product.
Odd, but I haven't noticed any exhaust fumes while driving.. Do you drive with your windows up/rear hatch open?? If so, that's not a wise thing to do .
Hmmm... Maybe it's why I'm asleep when ever I go anywhere in the Vette

Had one, used it extensively for 6 month's, hit a pot hole and it broke.

Actually, spring steel is REALLY strong. Which brand did you break?
Spring steel has very high fatigue strength. The plunger for the hatch ajar switch is only plastic though, and for the ventmaster, the only thing carrying the weight of the window is the pressure in the hatch struts, and that switch, which is bad design IMO.
I just got my gadgetman vent the other day. It makes it much cooler on the inside of the car especially when your a/c is busted like mine I wish it would go on a little bit tighter, but that is just personal preference I guess. Its not loose enough for me to worry about losing it so no real complaints here.
