Default LT4 intake with LT1 heads

How much of a problem would I have if I used a LT4 intake with my LT1 heads. It seems the intake on my 92 is warped and I eventually want to go with a set of AFR220 LT4s. I have the 94-96 fuelrails already.

I think it will fit fine. I know that it was a problem to use a LT1 intake with LT4 heads. To see if it fits you can get a set of stock LT4 intake gaskets and place them on the heads to get an idea as to where the ports will be in relation to the intake manifold. But I think (about 90% sure ) it will fit OK.

from what i remember the LT4 intake is slightly higher than the LT1. It has to be machined so the runners line up. I remember someone on ebay used to do the mod. Im guessing if you machine the intake and then go to LT4 AFRS you might have to weld something to raised the LT4 intake so the runners line up.

i could remember wrong but double check before you get urself into a mess. Using an LT4 intake on LT1 heads is a waste anyhow.

If you just decide to go with another 92 intake, I've got one I'll send you pretty cheap.
