emblem repair possible
the corvette emblems on my car are in good shape except the part around the chevrolet symbol that used to be red is faded to silver. has anyone tried to fix this? $30 for an emblem is kinda steep

Exposure to the sun kills everything! New emblem is probably cheapest solution

Shoot! Man; $30.00 is cheap for an emblem. I`m trying to find a new emblem for the valve cover on my `87. Contemporary Corvette wants $100.00 for that one, Ron the owner says he don`t think anybody makes them anymore. Anybody know where I can get a new one for a lot more reasonable price?
Kenv, if you're not too far from Carlisle, PA, drop in for the Corvettes at Carlisle fest from Aug 27-29. You might just find some used emblems in good condition.
I plan on being there Fri. morning for some early "shopping".
