Accel DFI gen VI users...
Just wondering what is the fastest cpu(on a laptop)or how slow of a cpu(on a laptop)do I need in order to communicate with the accel cpu...I currently have a Dell 2.4m pentium w/512m ram and it can't communicate.I was told the processor in the laptop is too fast for the dos program used by the genVI unit...thanks...Dan

I have a Dell 8200 and while I can communicate with the G6 ECU it is very slow. I have found that the newer P2 and up processors don't like talking to the G6 ECUs. Anything that is the earlier P1 CPUs down to the old 386 and 486 door stops work great with the older G6 ECUs.
