Humming Sound
When driving at low speeds (i.e., parking lots), I've just begun to notice a humming sound whenever I have the steering wheel locked all the way in one direction or another. I've never noticed it before, so I imagine it's an indication that something is worn. Any suggestions?

If very noisy check your PS fluid level. Bogus is correct in that it's your PS pumps way of telling you it's in a bind and doesn't like it much or maybe getting worn with age. After making sure fluid levels are ok try this, when your turning sharply and you reach the end of your steering wheels travel and hear the noise, or before, just back off a hair. Your pump and seals will thank you by lasting longer.
