Anyone know if the miniram fit under the stock hood of an 85?

Yes the MR fits under the hood with plenty to spare.
Its a high rpm-motor intake though, considerable valvetrain modification goes with it, and I dont think it goes well with an automatic if thats what you have.
MORE is a good shop though.

Well... I see the the super-ram is $3,995.00 
unless it's a misprint on the lingenfeller site.... for that price I could buy a low mileage LS1 engine and tranny and mod enough to mount it welll..

What you seen on LPEs website was a complete SR kit with a aftermarket Accel Gen 6 EFI control system. LPE sells the Super ram plenum and runner kit for $864.95 and the base manifold for $459.95
Summit Racing sells the SR plenum and runner kit for $779.95 and the base for $517.95

We're talking about the superram, and you can probably find the plenum/runners in the Sale sections or Ebay (eventually) for about half that price.
