LT 4 Difference?

I'll start so I get to just give you some background instead of answer the difficult part 
LT-4 stock has about 50 actual hp more than the LT-1. It is only rated 30 hp higher. They didn't want to embarass the LS-1 that was due to come out in 1997.
Most LT-4s were coupes. LT-4 is the engine that came with all 6-spd Corvettes in 1996 and wasn't available on the automatics.

The main difference between LT1 and LT4 is the heads, cam, and intake manifold.
Its easier to make more power with the LT4 because the ports are larger.
