Default Timing chain question....

Is there a double roller timing chain on the market that can be used with a stock water pump for an LT4 motor?

I don't know... the GM Heavy Duty is stock, I think, on the LT4. And that is a pretty good setup.

There is always converting to an electric WP!

The extreem duty LT4 setup from GM is a much stronger setup than the stock LT4 setup. I've never had a problem using them, and have one on my 396.

Nope, not unless you want to remove the crankshaft position sensor (CPS) disc, add an earlier LT1 hub ('96 hub is shorter due to the CPS disc), and program out the codes that'll be set because the CPS "system" is no longer functional.

I was trying to stick with the factory H2O pump, since it is almost new. I will look into the extreme duty chain. Thanks.

Stick with a LT4 Extreme set up, its the best for retaining all the OE accessories. If your cam is something like a LT4 HOT Cam using GM springs and roller rockers then a LT4 roller chain setup is adequate. But for extra insurance the Extreme setup is the way to go.
