Default brake upgrades

well the time has come for new pads, so i'll prob install new autozone pfz pads or something like that. unless yall can give me some better advice. i'd like to get some new rotors for xmas, but dont know waht kind. i'd like some that improve braking. but i would also like to get some slotted and punched, or whatever rotors. are these worth it? are the eradispeeds good stuff? the only thing is i am gonna need to use em with stock calipers. so whats my options? thanks guys.

I just replaced my pads with PF Z-rated pads in time for a good auto-X. I had the original pads in my 92 which were working okay, but the PFs don't seem to fade like the OEMs. And, not as much dust. So far, I don't need anything more. So, I'd say, save your money on the brakes and make the go pedal work better.

IMHO, fancy rotors aren't going to improve your braking. I never cut my rotors, just install new pads until the rotors are dead (~2 sets of pads for each set of rotors). Your Vette came stock with the J55 13" brakes, it takes $2K to up grade to a better set (not including the new wheels you'll need). I like the AutoZone PF pads, but the newer ceramics get great reviews.
