You can go to any auto parts store and tell them what you need. The # is the same for alot of makes and years of cars. Don't know the #

Any particular year or engine??? Will any tensioner do? Do you want the wheel with bearing, only? I am not aware they are sold that way. I DID replace the bearing, only in mine, once.

Yes you can get the wheel and the bearing with the bearing installed into the wheel. The price for just the bearing is close to the same amount as the wheel it makes sence doing both. I've done acouple of them and there around $10.

You couldn't buy just the wheel when I did mine, waaaay back. You had to buy the tensioner assembly. I stand corrected.

Often times it is found the tension spring is weak or broken. If you want a new serpentine belt tensioner for reliability reasons, the tensioner for your 91 can be had from Mid America Motorworks (part #614-488) for $89.99. If your car is at or near the 100K mark, I'd recommend you replace the whole unit. Me, I'm lazy, and the parts houses around here are notorious for having the least knowledgable parts desk people in the world working them, so I find myself skipping the hassle and going direct to a source. Check with a Chev dealer, but Mr. Greedwrench seems to price everything way too high these days. But if you find a cheap fix, go for it.

I think the tensioner is fine. Last time i look the tensioner whas within the 2 marks that indicate wear.
If someone could help me get the part number, that would help me alot as I live here in Sweden, and the guy over at GM dont have alot experince with corvette.

The GM part number for your whole tensioner unit is 10055897. I could not find any separate part numbers for pulley or bearing. www.gmpartsdirect lists your part for US $44.11, but I understand that their shipping charges are quite high.

I got mine at NAPA, a quality parts store catering to the professional here in the states. Like yours, my tensioner was good, checking by the marks with a new belt. I replaced the pulley on it and the idler pulley. You may be able to purchase from them online, I don't know. If you need the part numbers for NAPA or GM ones, contact me by email and I'll get them for you. My NAPA ones were less than half the price quoted in this thread for OEM ones and I'm sure the NAPA replacements are at least as good as original.

The bearing is a very common one that almost any place that sells bearings would stock. I paid $2 bucks for it. Clean the side of the cage seal and it will give you the #.
6206rs comes off the top of my head. DO NOT QUOTE ME on that one

The NAPA # for that bearing and pulley assembly is 38015. Let me know if you need anything else.

All those marks indicate, is that the belt is the proper length. It really has little to do with the condition of the tensioner, unless the spring is so weak it can't pull the belt tight.

I got to diffrent result when i search napa.
38015 is both:

"NAPA Belts and Hoses Drivebelt Idler Pulley"

and

"NAPA Belts and Hoses Drivebelt Tensioner pulley"

What to get?

thanks..

On my 95, they are the same part number so that should be correct. I replaced both and they're the same.
