The fan comes on when you jumper the two things - its normal... One sec... Writing the other two.

26- Quad Driver module #1 circuit.... Aparently, according to this... You need to check the resistance of the EGR, Canister purge and the Air pump relay coils all should be greater then 20 ohms.

83 isn't in there either. Argh.

RACE ON!!!

That cuts a brotha deep!
The "NEED" was emphasized, not the "you". *I* NEED it. If you are going to do much more than change the oil and adjust the tire pressure on one of these things, you NEED a Helms. Unless you know these things backward and forward, you NEED the Helms to decode and trouble shoot the systems and codes. Remember, just because a code was sent from a particular sensor, doesn't necessarily mean that the sensor is bad. In other words, "Don't shoot the messenger".

The other was a little sarcasm on the wisdom of clearing the codes and crossing your fingers, with out checking them out. Sorry if you took offense, but it isn't a great idea.

RACE ON!!!

Ok, if I remember correctly, if the car enters "limp mode", both fans will turn on and the SES light will light. A code will be set any time the SES light illuminates. As soon as that happens, pull the codes.

It sounds like it's tripping when entering closed loop, though 195 is a little high for that. Does your digital guage and analog guage roughly show the same temp?

When the fans kick on she runs a little poor.Of course the SES light pops on.Last night after the fans came on she was at like 160-ish and the fans came on then the SES light.Could any of this have to do with this Canister Purge part?.
What do you want me to do?....and what is LIMP mode.?.

I called the mechanic and he said the part is a fuel purge valve. It's on top of the manifold on the front right a little black box.

Hmmmm.....looking in my Helms 92 Book II ....the only code that is valid is 26 (Quad driver #1 circuit) fault. The rest are bogas. are you sure you are reading them correctly??????

If it's throwing code 26 when it goes (or tries to go) closed loop, then it is probably the defective canister purge solenoid that your mechanic told you about....since that quad driver "faults" that system and the EGR, AIR relay and EVS solenoid. Any problems in anyone of those will cause the ECM to code out 26.
