ok i keep getting a 32 and 43 code, engine light comes on and car runs like crap, ie...no power and seems like it misses, or starvin for air, and way i put in my key to run diags, then the engine light goes out and car run great, 43 is a knock sensor, but i think it may be coming up as well, cause of the 32, which i understand is a maf sensor, or ecm, other than testing ohms, on the maf, is there another way to isolate the problem, and can it be a map sensor a s well, cause if its bad it also throws a 32....thanks by the way i have an 87, with a 4+3

Reason: FORGOT TO EXPLAIN MY YEAR VETTE
Your year doesn't have a MAP, but if you're using a generic shop manual, it's easy to get confused. Make sure the air tube is tight and not leaking air and then the best test for the MAF is to disconnect it and see if it will at least start and stall - After it stalls, see if it will start and run. If so, you probably need a new MAF. Otherwise, the relay may be shot. See if there is battery voltage to the MAF on the Purple wire, terminal E, with the key on. If not, the Relay may be all you need. If the voltage is there, it's probably still the MAF.
For the 43, check the connection at the knock sensor.
