Clearing trouble codes?
Got a 96 LT4. I am looking to clear the trouble codes and get the SES light to go off. I don't have a scanner or code reading software, had Auto Zone check the codes. OBD 1 you could pull the ECM fuse for ten seconds and clear the codes. Tried it on the 96 and it didn't work. I would prefer not to disconnect the battery as I don't want to lose the PKE key fobs and have to redo them. If it's the only way it's not that big a deal I guess. Thanks.

To clear the codes after fixing the problem, disconnect the battery or pull the PCM fuse.
