Guess I'll have to email the guy and see about his other wastegates. I thought with your size turbo that you'd need a bigger wastegate. Or perhaps your turbine flows enough air that you don't need it.

You mean the Racegate I just "Buy It Now" ? I could not pass it up.

Bruce

That'd be the one. I was gonna wait until tomarrow after I emailed him about what spring was in it. It pays to be quick. Hopefully he'll sell me one of his other ones. Did you make any more progress on the kit this weekend?

Any idea where you are going to get the racegate flanges from? I'm not looking to spend $20/flange on stainless, mild steel will work for me.

Thanks Bruce. So for $283 I just got my wastegate and two weld on flanges. Now I've just gotta do something about that 3psi spring the wastegate comes with.

Bruce,

He told me it was a 3psi spring.

Sounds like you're collection of parts is almost complete.

I'm taking the other approach, start building and order parts as needed. I've got all my hot side parts here or on their way, now I need to concentrate on the cold side.

Not a problem. I can go ahead and order a new set of spring.

Here it is, we are going to make her over. She will get new black seats, new black carpret, paint door panel to black to match, new black convertable top and new radio with DVD LCD screen and TV tuner, that right I can watch DVD movie and or television. Technology is great. Some pics of the Tial 50mm BOV, Turbonetics wastegate, V Band clamps, T6 thumper turbo flange. From a good car and stripped down to the bone

Hey now, Those are some good quailty pictures.

BTw, whats the deal with the two electric fans in the back? Cooling down a intercooler to be stuffed back there in the future? And do you have the wastegate welded onto the Cat? VEry very interesting project.

Bruce,
Who manufactures the charge air cooler that you have in the attached picture? What is the flow rating of that unit. I like the fact that the BOV mounts directly to the cooler.

Aaron
The water to air intercooler is off Rick (Baldturbofreak's car) Its efficenncy good for 900hp with very little pressure drop. So I am pushing about 1000hp, the pressure drop will be little higher, I got such a large turbo it won't be a problem. If the water not cool enough than we are going to use the air conditionning to chill the water. Rick has done this on his car. He says we will do the same if it needs it. With the AC to chill the water and the water will be around 30 degree man that is cold. Rick shown me the web site of the company who make them but I don't remember. I am buying the cooler from Rick because I think he is going to try to run a dual fuel system with 16 injector setup, one for 94 octane the other is pure methanol.

StealDad is right. Those are my rear speakers for conv vette.
