I will be picking up a 383 short block tomorrow and my builder recommends (for me) an .025 compressed head gasket. I don't have the brand or part number yet but will post it tomorrow if you are interested. I saw it and it is white! I think it is a cometic but not sure. I have been a diehard fel-pro guy, but he says this is the ticket. We'll see.
pete if you are talking bout andy he would know. my tpis bigmouths goin to him after christmas to get opened up to a 1206. with a little material added of course.gonna get my head gaskets from him as well
How much did you pay for your heads? I was looking at the Kenny D. CNC model today. They flow close to the AFR 195s and cost just as much. If I could find a deal on them I might pull the trigger.

TFS-30400007 for the cast, and just add CNC at the end. i did not get the CNC because for the money, they dont flow a hell of alot more in my opinion.
sure! do what ever u want! but i thought when i called AFR, i also needed to upgrade to there spring running the 219, TFS heads allready were good for a .600 lift.
i know there were some hidden costs in there somewhere, were as TFS there were none.
