Default Peak Lifetime Coolant?

Man I hope this isn't a dupe... but I was watching Behind the Headlights on Speed (I really don't have much going on) and saw this ad for Peak Global Lifetime coolant. The whole attidue seemed to be to dump it in and forget it (after a flush, of course). Hmmm... I like the sounds of that, but it sounds too good to be true. Nothing lasts forever. Whatta you guys think? Snake Oil? BS? Promised Land?

Thats funny, I just thinking about the coolant issue, what would be the very best, but thought it might be to dumb to post. The guy that just built my new 355 put in the expensive pink stuff, but I had a leak from the water pump, the little pipe was loose, so I lost half the coolant fixing it, and filled with the green stuff (Preestone I think), I think I remember a thread discussing this, but just not sure anymore. I'm thinking of dumping it all and starting fresh. So whats the best? The only thing I believe lasts forever is "change"

I'd have to say,

I think it's lifetime in the sense that you probably won't keep your car long enough to worry about it... That was the whole pitch behind selling lifetime warranty services like brakes, parts, etc...

Mixing is a NO NO. It will turn to sludge in your cooling system. If I were you I would clean out the system ASAP

Dexcool is the way to go. When you switch from the green stuff you still change it per the original maintanence schedule.

I don`t think you are supposed to mix the orange, & the green stuff in any quantity. I read somewhere that the coolant turns to mud. I believe you are supposed to use one or the other. Now the new Yellow stuff says that it goes with either right on the bottle. I don`t know how that works out.
