I put the B&M Megashifter in that they make for console mounting in the 82-93 (or something like that) F-body. Had to do some work but I'm very unskilled so if I could do it anybody can. The cheap rubber boot doesn't reach down to the console top so I need to have a nice leather one made but havn't gotten around to that yet. Too busy driving. I did my shifter because I put in a manual valve body th400 with a Gear Vendors overdrive. This is the ONLY way to fly!

This is exactley what I plan on doing sometime soon. I have allot of other things I'm doing now to the engine compartment so the shifter will wait till spring/summer. Thaks for the pics. When I do get mine done I will post pics if I can figure out how.

I have a hurst quarterstick in mine, it was a simple install using the brackets included with the shifter and only had to drill 2 holes, was able to use 2 factory ones. fits under the console plate and i only had to notch it slightly to be able to get 1st gear. it can prolly be done without notching by just moving the shifter forward a bit.
