I just got back from vacation to find a messege from Jerry Ventre's duaghter. She was sending notice of his death to those on his computer mailing list. His handle was Vetteseniorcit and he had a Ruby 93 coupe. He lived in Henderson, Nevada. His daughter said he was taken to the ER on the 29th and had emergency surgery that he did not survive.
He was a kind, thoughtful man that loved his family dearly.
I hope this is not a duplicate post but I just now got home and thought many of you would like to know.
His daughter is reading his email so you can send condolences that way or I can attempt to find her mailing address if somwone wants it.

Just moved from Henderson, NV to Bellingham, WA, and knew him, a very kind and giving man... the first time we got together was for lunch, we talked on the forum and he know of my 87, so he shows up with 2 boxes of 87 new parts that he had left over from his old 87, and would not accept a penny for them, to top it off, he wouldn't even let me buy lunch.
He's going to be missed....
