What intake is it?

Hey guys their is an 89 in ebay. Item 4520822222. Enlarge the motor pic and tell me what intake it has. Totally different and sort of cool.

It says it right in the description, t-ram manifold. It's one of the more obscure intakes for the L98. If I remember correctly it's from a turbo TA? Someone will have more info for you.

If I am not mistaken that intake came on some of the Firebird formulas, I think maybe the firehawks. I believe they only did it for one or two years. Either that or its an aftermarket intake that got put on several of them because every now and then you'll see one on ebay with that intake.

I 'THINK' it was called the x-ram, or something to that effect.

That is the intake that came only on the 92 Firehawk from SLP. In 93 the firehawks obviously had the LT1. It had 375 hp in the 350 version. I have never seen one in a Vette though.

That is absolutely the T-Ram.

The molds SLP had for it were lost in a fire so you will not see any more produced. Many many 3rd Gen F-Body owners have tried to get SLP to redo the molds, but SLP has so far not budged on their position. I can't remember if it was SLP exactly who designed it or not. I know there is a pretty good history behind it.
