Default Mezzierre with a vortech?
Does anyone run an electric water pump on an LT1 with a vortech kit? I am looking back at pictures and starting to think that it might not fit.. of course my engine is in peices and out of the car, so I have no way of measuring clearance. Can anyone check on this for me???

It will not fit. The air inlet piping and the relocated AC receiver will be in the way. This applies to both Vortech and Pro-Chrager systems.

As far as I know there are no other options other than GM. I haven't had any problems with them. And for what its worth I don't see many being replaced in my neighbors general repair shop. The last one was on the owners wifes car which had about 80k on the engine. It was a 96 Impala SS.

It will fit with an intercooled Procharger kit, the AC dryer just has to be moved a bit.

Ported stock heads, custom grind cam, early style LT1 intake, Meziere wp, headers, dual 3" exhaust, and PLENTY of tuning

The cam is on the small side and has the ability to pass smog
