Update.
I have the exterior lights working.
Tailights
Brakelights
side marker
reverse lights ( thanks Bill Boudreau for the backup switch’s)
front markers
headlights
headlight motor wiring

next up :
turn signals. (Can’t find the damn flasher&#128563


then:
cut out the wiring for what I don’t need in the doors: power windows, rear hatch switch, heated side mirror. Things like that.
Wondering if that will cause me problems with the BCM ? Does anyone have thoughts on that?

Thanks for the updates on this project. Keep them and the pictures coming. Removing that wiring shouldn’t be a problem as I picture it because if there was a malfunction with any of the accessory components you mentioned, no codes should be triggered. You just wouldn’t have current that could complete the circuit and report back because of a blown relay or burned out motor/heating element. At least, that’s my thought on it.

makes sense....
if my power mirror circuit stops working, no idiot lights or codes happen.
so should be able to cut that stuff out..
